POSITION OVERVIEW
The position is responsible for utilizing specialized expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central towards the implementation of projects and integration of systems. The individual is a proven strategic thinker keen on providing incremental system based operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field: Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant.
- Web Technologies i.e., PHP, JS and Python experience and CPA-K certification an added advantage.
Required Experience
- Minimum of (4) year’s relevant experience.
- Must have a Logistics and Finance background.
- Working experience in implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, preparing user documentation and performing data migration.
- Must have a certification in Supply Chain Management (Exam MB-330)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools including Visio and MS Project with dominance in the creation and understanding pivot charts and tables and connecting to data source.
- Experience with SQL Server, SharePoint, EDI, and WMS is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Requirements gathering and documentation
- Understand Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business central its relation to other internal and external systems and assist in requirement gathering.
- Preparing requirements following meetings and input from the clients.
- Organizing, categorizing, and preparing all documentation.
- Assisting with the preparation of the project status report, project timeline and project budget.
- Responsible for identifying risks in the project discovered during any work for the client and reporting them to the project oversight team.
- Ensure Signoffs on related activities.
System configuration, analysis, and testing
- Analyze existing systems, processes, and infrastructure within the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system design and specifications.
- Facilitate smooth integration and implementation of system enhancements.
Delivery of End User Training
- Preparing the training itinerary, materials, and manuals.
- Delivering training to end users as scheduled.
- Developing whitepapers on incremental improvements to the systems.
Customer support
- Provide support to users in the UAT phase.
- Providing go live and post-implementation support.
- Provide Onsite support at Client’s site.
- Interface with senior management and end users and ensure high customer satisfaction.
